“Set within a stunning parkland site, the two homes, though distinct in design and inspired by different periods, are brought together in perfect harmony through the thoughtful use of similar materials. Each house complements the other, creating a cohesive yet unique architectural statement.”
Anthony Benfield
Director & Co-Founder

Two high-end bespoke residential dwellings were constructed in a traditional Cambridgeshire village, with the project managed from inception to turnkey completion in 2018/19.

The development included one property designed in a contemporary style and another in a traditional style, both using similar materials to create a harmonious aesthetic between the two homes.

One property was based on a Georgian design, featuring full fenestration under a flat balcony roof adjacent to a zinc-covered roof. The contemporary rear elevation incorporated an E-shaped detail and full curtain-walled windows.

The interior design embraced spacious, open-plan layouts, with traditional oak rafters supporting vaulted ceilings, enhancing light and space.

Traditional elements were seamlessly integrated with contemporary features, such as a glass floating kitchen and a central spine staircase with open-plan glass balustrades.

Both properties balance heritage and modernity, merging classic architectural details with innovative design elements to create distinctive, luxurious homes.
